The Great Snow of 2014

This past week we had about 15 inches of snow fall over a 24 hour period.  It is more snow than the kids have ever seen and there was no going anywhere for two days.  We still have plenty of snow in the yard for the kids to play in, but on Thursday they had the best time playing in their "snow beach." 

Cooper was not amused by all the snow.  He dug up his bones, toys and water dish, but then he was done with being wet. 

Charlotte had some trouble walking in it, so she liked to follow behind Jay's path. 

Then she found it was easier just to crawl through the snow.

They got out the sleds, but the snow was just too deep for the sleds to go anywhere.

So the resorted to just filling up the sleds with snow instead. 

Trey loved just rolling all around in the fluffy snow. 

He also liked digging snow. 

On Friday he made this snowman all by himself. 

Now that we have had one big snowfall I am ready for warmer weather and a regular schedule again!
