The first full day in Asheville the weather was still a little cool and windy so opted for an inside activity. In fact, we drove through parts of a freak snow storm where Blacksburg got 4-5 inches of snow the day before. Asheville has an amazing kid play place, Play Mountain Lodge, where we took the kids. I must say I love vacationing with people who have the same goal as me: Play with the kids as hard as you can so they take really long naps and go to bed early, leaving you plenty of time to relax on vacation!

Before we left for the play place the kids were rocking their sunglasses! |

Trey's first stop was the train table. It had so many more cars and tunnels than his at home. |

Charlotte loved this canoe! |

Charlotte and her friend Lydia. (In my original post I put Sadie. Not sure what I was thinking...sorry girls, I know who you are!) I loved watching them play together. |

This place had slides all over. Trey was obsessed with the slides! |

Trey spent about an hour climbing up this castle thing and going down this slide. He would come out so fast he would slide onto the floor and bounce up! |
After naptime their friend Sadie and her parents arrived. The girls had so much fun playing doctor together. We had three 2 year old girls there. They got along so well and were a delight to watch!

I am glad everyone enjoyed the Play Mountain Lodge. We had a blast there last summer.
